US Card API for SMS Verification and OTP Testing
Manual SMS receiving is acceptable when a team only needs to test one or two verification flows. But when a product needs repeated OTP testing, automated SMS retrieval, or integration with an internal system, a US card API becomes more useful.
A US card API usually helps developers request a US phone number, check order status, retrieve SMS content, and extract the verification code. This turns a manual receiving process into a system-level workflow.
For cross-border teams, this is useful in several scenarios:
- Testing US user registration and login flows
- Checking OTP delivery time
- Debugging SMS verification logic
- Running repeated verification tests
- Recording SMS test results in an internal dashboard
The API.CC US card API page introduces US phone number SMS receiving, order status queries, verification code retrieval, and developer integration workflows:

A good test process should start small. First, confirm that the API can request a number, receive a message, and return the SMS content. Then add retry logic, timeout handling, logs, and business-specific validation.
The service should be positioned for lawful product testing, OTP delivery checks, developer integration, and business verification. It should not be used for fraud, spam, abusive account creation, or bypassing platform rules.
